Surprise yourself with this leek pie recipe made with seafood such as melva or mackerel from Andalusia.
Dare to prepare it!
Ingredients (for 6 persons):
- ¼ teaspoon ground pepper.
- ½ teaspoon of dried dill.
- 1 bay leaf.
- 1 can of drained mackerel.
- 10 g of bread crumbs.
- 100 g feta cheese.
- 2 eggs.
- 20 g of wheat semolina.
- 20 ml of extra virgin olive oil.
- 250 g of leek in julienne.
For the sauce:
- 10 g of mustard.
- 10 ml of liquid cream.
- 130 g apricot jam.
Wash the leek, drain well and sauté it in olive oil with salt, bay leaf and ground pepper until soft.
Then remove it to a large bowl and add the semolina, half of the cheese, the dill, the drained and crumbled mackerel and the eggs.
Mix well until a paste is obtained.
Place the mixture in tart molds of about 20 cm in diameter on waxed paper.
On top place the rest of the feta cheese in small pieces and bake at 220º for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Then let cool and unmold.
For the sauce we mix all the ingredients that will accompany the portions of the cake.
